Three-day BABCP annual conference and workshops at the University of Warwick, covering CBT research, clinical practice, keynotes, workshops, symposia, panels, open papers, posters and networking.
Audience
CBT practitioners, cognitive and behavioural psychotherapists, psychological therapists, supervisors, researchers, educators and trainees interested in CBT research and practice.
Networking
The annual conference is BABCP’s main national meeting, with in-person workshops, 15 keynote addresses, social events at the Panorama Suite and an exhibition route.

Visible rates are member discounted/member/non-member rather than doctor trainee/student tiers. Stored standard cost uses non-member late full-conference rate without pre-conference workshop; early-bird cost uses non-member early full-conference rate without pre-conference workshop.
Research Value
The conference has multiple presentation routes, including symposia, open papers, posters, 3-minute talks, panel discussions, clinical roundtables and skills classes; awards recognise posters, clinical case/service development and other accepted presentations.
Trainee Relevance
No explicit trainee or student ticket tier was visible, but member discounted and online rates reduce cost, and the programme includes practical skills classes, workshops, posters, 3-minute presentations and open papers useful for portfolio development.

BABCP Annual Conference 2026 runs at the University of Warwick from Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16 July. The conference starts with in-person half-day pre-conference workshops on Tuesday morning, then the main conference runs from Tuesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon. The published outline programme lists 29 symposia, five open paper sessions, 16 skills classes, nine panel discussions, 3-minute presentations, poster presentations and 15 keynote addresses, so this is a substantial CBT meeting rather than a narrow CPD course. Submissions are now closed: symposia, skills classes, panel discussions and roundtables closed on 30 January 2026, while open paper and poster submissions closed on 27 February 2026. The accepted presentation routes visible on the conference site are symposia, skills classes, panel discussions, clinical roundtables, open papers, 3-minute talks and posters. Registration is open, with early registration ending on 7 June and late registration ending on 10 July. For the full in-person conference without the pre-conference workshop, the non-member rate is £400 before 7 June and £475 from 8 June, with onsite registration at £550. Online full-conference attendance is available, giving access to the programme from the three main lecture theatres including keynotes, but online day registration is not offered. The venue page confirms the University of Warwick is in Coventry; Coventry Rail Station is the nearest main-line station and delegates are specifically advised not to travel to Warwick Station.
