BASL Annual Meeting 2026 runs at ICC Wales from Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 October. The meeting structure includes the BLTG Transplant Meeting on 6 to 7 October, the main BASL Annual Meeting from 7 to 9 October, and the BLNA Annual Meeting from 7 to 8 October, so it is relevant to hepatology trainees, gastroenterology trainees with a liver interest, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals and researchers. Abstract submission is now closed; the BASL listing, annual-meeting abstracts page and EventsAir abstract portal all give the extended deadline as 12:00 on Friday 12 June 2026. The abstract pages list categories across alcohol and metabolic liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, basic science, cancer, cirrhosis and complications, clinical service development, health inequalities, nursing / AHP / pharmacist work, sustainable hepatology, paracentesis and transplantation, and viral hepatitis. The submission portal states that top oral and top poster presentations will receive prizes, and that successful abstracts will be published in BMJ Gut in accordance with journal guidelines. Registration is open through EventsAir, with discounted early-bird rates available until 23:59 on Friday 28 August 2026, but the detailed fee table is only available as a linked PDF and was not downloaded. Undergraduate students accepted for poster or oral presentation are asked to contact the organisers for complimentary registration. Venue information confirms ICC Wales at Coldra Wood, Newport, with accommodation allocations listed on the meeting website.
