BCCA Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 runs on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November 2026 at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. The meeting is organised for professionals involved in adult and paediatric congenital heart disease and related services, with the conference site naming congenital cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, paediatric cardiac nurses, cardiac physiologists, clinical scientists and the BCCA-associated groups PECSIG, CCNA, BACCNA, CCAN and BCCP. The organiser states that BCCA regularly attracts more than 300 delegates from the UK and internationally, and the 2026 meeting is organised by Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The programme spans parallel sessions across both days. Published preview topics include Ross-PEARS in congenital aortic stenosis with aortopathy, mitral clip for congenital hearts, TAVI for bicuspid valves in younger patients, HLHS and brain development, fetal cardiac MRI for coarctation prediction, hybrid strategies in initial HLHS intervention, Fontan fenestration decisions, 3D printing and AI in CHD treatment, late biventricular repair, Cardiomems and mechanical support in single ventricle care, and neonatal and infant transplantation in the UK. CPD accreditation will be applied for, but points are not yet stated.
Abstracts are open until 23:59 on Monday 28 September 2026. BCCA 2026 has six abstract streams: BCCA, PECSIG, BACCNA, CCNA, CCAN and BCCP. Original work may be selected for oral or poster presentation, including research, quality improvement, clinical projects, health and wellbeing interventions, case studies and literature reviews. Early-bird two-day consultant registration is £415, resident doctor registration is £355 and student registration is £160, with early-bird pricing available until 14 September 2026.
