The Complete Guide to the BSG LIVE'26

BSG LIVE'26 runs from 22-25 June 2026 at LEX Liverpool and is described by BSG as the largest gastroenterology and hepatology event in the UK. The meeting brings together clinicians, researchers and industry partners across GI and liver health, with masterclasses, plenary lectures, section sessions, free paper sessions, industry symposia, meet-the-expert sessions, e-posters and a scientific poster gallery. Registration includes access to scientific sessions, the exhibition, e-posters, lunch and refreshments, plus an on-demand content library at no extra cost. The home page states that the meeting includes dozens of CPD-accredited sessions; no total CPD-point value was visible. Abstract submissions opened on 1 December 2025 and the main deadline was 23 January 2026, with late-breaking abstracts open from 17 April to 30 April 2026. Accepted abstracts may be allocated as oral, flash poster or e-poster presentations, and abstracts are published in Gut under the BMJ and BSG licence agreement. Regular full non-member consultant registration is £778 including VAT; full non-member trainee ST4/post-CCT is £391, and undergraduate/medical/nursing student is £98. Early-bird full non-member consultant registration was £649, with the early-bird deadline listed as 27 April 2026. Bursary applications are now closed, but BSG states bursaries of up to £600 support BSG members and overseas abstract presenters who would find attendance difficult.
