The Complete Guide to the BSGI ASM 2026

BSGI ASM 2026 is a one-day face-to-face annual scientific meeting for clinicians involved in gynaecological imaging. The society describes the audience as gynaecologists, radiologists, sonographers, specialist nurses, fellows, trainees, allied health professionals and researchers with an interest in imaging innovation. The morning programme covers pelvic imaging and clinical practice, including endometriosis, OASI and pelvic floor diagnostics, pelvic congestion syndrome, rectovaginal endometriosis, post-menopausal bleeding, imaging-led fibroid ablation, adenomyosis and governance in gynaecological imaging. The afternoon is built around two practical skills tracks: beginner/intermediate ultrasound image optimisation, endometriosis, adenomyosis and 3D ultrasound; and advanced clinical sessions on MRI, ultrasound-guided fibroid ablation, artefact reduction, OASI, rectal endometriosis and pelvic venous disorder assessment. Abstract submissions closed on 17 April 2026 and the page describes a poster exhibition for original research, audit/QI, service development and innovations in imaging, education and training. Registration is sold out, with the society directing delegates to email admin@bsgi.org.uk for the waiting list. Visible prices were non-member £349, BSGI member £299, and nurses, sonographers and trainees £195.
