The programme covered specialist, primary, community and paediatric diabetes care alongside basic science and clinical science. Key themes included health inequalities, diabetes complications, technology and innovation, perinatal care, children and young adults, obesity in diabetes, podiatry and footcare, dietetics, psychology, inpatient care, lived experience, research translation, policy and leadership.
