The Complete Guide to the Exeter Immunology Symposium 2026

Exeter Immunology Symposium 2026 is a two-day in-person BSI event at the Exeter Rougemont Hotel on 15-16 June 2026. It is regional rather than national, but it meets the MedicMess threshold because it has a full two-day scientific programme, invited speakers, selected abstract talks, a dedicated poster session, exhibitor networking and BSI grants. The meeting focuses on the breadth and diversity of immunology research across the Southwest, with a strong emphasis on Early Career Researchers. The programme includes invited talks from Dr James Pearson, Professor Salome Leibundgut-Landmann, Professor Andy Sewell, Dr Gina Doody, Professor Matthew O'Shea and Professor Georgios Chamilos, plus multiple selected short talks on fungal immunology, cancer immunotherapy, autoimmune disease, HIV reservoir metabolism, tuberculosis risk and related themes. Abstracts were due by 23:59 BST on 18 May 2026, with selected ECR talks chosen from submitted abstracts and a poster session to encourage discussion. Registration early-bird prices before 27 May 2026 were £145 non-member full, £145 non-member early-career/clinician in training, £99 non-member postgraduate/senior/discounted and £26 undergraduate; BSI member rates were lower. Late registration rises to £180 full and £126 postgraduate/senior/discounted. BSI Regional and Affinity Group travel and carers grants of up to £100 were available, with a 25 May 2026 deadline.
