Pharmacology 2026 is the British Pharmacological Society annual conference, taking place at Manchester Central Convention Complex from 8-10 December 2026. The conference brings together students, researchers, industry, academics, clinicians and regulators for three days of pharmacology science and networking, with more than 40 scientific sessions across plenaries, symposia, prize lectures, workshops, debates, bootcamps and poster sessions. Abstract submission is open and closes at 3:00 pm BST on Tuesday 8 September 2026; authors are notified from 7 October and abstract presenters must register in person by 30 November 2026 or risk removal from the programme. Presentation formats include oral communications and in-person poster presentations. The abstracts page links the previous year’s selected abstracts in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and British Journal of Pharmacology, which is the clearest publication signal available. Three-day standard non-member registration is £545, with early-bird non-member registration at £465 until 27 October 2026; BPS early-career, affiliate and retired member rates are £165 standard / £110 early bird, and BPS undergraduate member rates are £25 standard / £15 early bird. Bursaries are available for members, including travel support for accepted oral or poster presenters, a minibus hire bursary of up to £1,000 closing on 8 September, and care support bursaries of up to £200.
