PEM Conference 2026 takes place on Thursday 2 July 2026 at Bristol Grand Hotel By Sunday. The RCEM page presents it as an annual Paediatric Emergency Medicine conference and describes a combined RCEM and RCPCH programme focused on contemporary paediatric emergency medicine, from babies to adolescents. The intended audience includes Higher Specialty RCEM and RCPCH PEM trainees, while all clinicians interested in PEM are welcome and the content is pitched at higher specialty trainee level. The event is face-to-face and RCEM-accredited for 6 CPD points. Abstract submissions were invited from across paediatric emergency medicine, including quality improvement, interesting case reports and research initiatives from the last two years. The top three abstracts are selected for oral presentation with eight-minute talks, and additional successful abstracts are offered poster presentation. The page states this is a national meeting and that formal confirmation of acceptance can be used in portfolios. The abstract deadline was Tuesday 15 April 2026 at 23:59 BST, with applicants notified on or after 6 May. The visible fee table lists non-member all grades except student/retired at GBP270, non-member student/retired at GBP235, RCEM member all grades at GBP150 and RCEM member student/retired at GBP115; RCPCH members can register at RCEM member rates.
