Resident Doctors Conference 2026 is a two-day Association of Anaesthetists conference organised for resident anaesthetists. It runs 17-18 June 2026 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead and is fully in person. The programme has detailed day-by-day sessions including allergy for anaesthetists, obstetric dilemmas, poster facilitation and judging, workshops, keynotes, industry exhibition time and poster viewing. Keynotes include Dr Rola Hallam, a consultant anaesthetist and humanitarian speaker, and Dr Beth Healey, a research MD with the European Space Agency. Research opportunities are strong for trainees: late-breaking abstracts closed at 23:59 on 25 March 2026 and can be displayed as ePosters, while the main submission round closed on 28 January 2026 and accepted abstracts are eligible for publication and oral/ePoster prizes. The published fee table lists resident member standard booking from £270 for 1 day and £415 for 2 days; medical students and anaesthesia associate students can book at £30 for 1 day or £55 for 2 days.
