New Investigator Award
Research grants of up to £15,000 per project (£30,000 total available) aimed primarily at encouraging new research workers, including applicants in training or recently appointed to a substantive post (within three years of consultant/senior lecturer appointment). Open to UK Members and Non-Members working within a UK trust or institution.
Professional Advisory Group (PAG) Membership
All fully paid-up ICS members are eligible to stand for election to the eight Professional Advisory Groups, which provide professional advice and expertise to Council and shape UK practice across all areas of intensive care.
State of the Art Congress Presentation Opportunities
Grant applicants may be expected to submit their work for presentation at the Research session of the State of the Art Congress. The congress offers learning, networking and presentation opportunities for all members.
